Therapeutic styleI mainly use Transactional Analysis (TA) plus Person Centred ways to form an Integrated style which flows freely with each individual client. I allow you the time, space and opportunity to explore how you think, feel and behave and ways this my be affecting your life.
I take notice of interactions in your relationships and how your unconscious ways of behaving and thinking may be affecting those relationships. I listen intently to you and reflect what I hear and see.
Communication is key and how you can do this both effectively, calmly and consistently can be addressed and explored in therapy. TA offers a way to illustrate easily and clearly where you can find yourself in a loop going around in the same unfulfilling pattern that is both familiar and unpleasant for a long time.
I also weave into my therapeutic style my interest and practice in Meditation and Buddhist teachings and philosophy. I find this allows a deeper level of connection between myself and my client when we are both as quiet and still on the inside as well as on the outside. I share what I learn myself from attending classes, Retreats, Empowerments and Meditations
Often you may know something is not feeling right but cannot identify it and therefore change seems impossible as there seems to be nowhere to start. This can be gently uncovered and your work can begin, I can guide you and support you and encourage you, but you will be the one working on yourself.
